Faith Moyosore is a performance poet and literary leader with over 6 years of experience in the scene. She came into the limelight in 2017 when she headlined the Street Project Foundation show, “A Journey Of A Thousand Miles” with a six-part poetry performance. Since then she has shared her poetry on stages and media platforms across Nigeria such as TEDx, City FM’s Lagos Poetry Sessions, WFM 91.7’s AM Cafe, Spoken Word Lagos, Kokopelli Night of Storytelling, Faaji Friday, Lagos International Poetry Festival and GT Bank’s You Read among others. She has also been commissioned to create poems for brands such as Norwich Black History Month UK and Do Take Action. In addition to being a poet, she founded The African Writers, an award-winning literary organization developing young African writers. She is also the convener of African Writers Meet, a conference for writers. In recognition of her work in literature, she was awarded the prestigious British Government-funded Chevening Scholarship in 2020 to study for a master’s degree in creative enterprise and represented Nigeria and the UK as a speaker at the Dubai Expo in December 2021.
